UPDATE: I'm sorry, but I cannot do commissions at this time. If that changes, I'll let you know.
I’ve done crafts and sewing for over 40 years, but this is my first plushie. I picked season 1 Luna to do first, because I love her colors, innocent look, and asymmetrical hair. There are fewer of her around as she is not the current version, but I think she’s a classic. It took three weeks of work, with plenty of adjustments, to complete her. Now I have a lovely Luna, and a Ziploc bag full of pieces of paper with scribbles on them, with which I can hopefully figure out how to make another if I want to, haha! I am riddled with ADD, and have a hard enough time finishing ONE of something, let alone making myself finish TWO of something. But, I will do it if the demand is there.
This Luna stands about 16” tall, bottom of her hooves to the top of her head, 19.5 inches overall. She is 8.5 inches wide from chest to flank, and 22 inches total. She is made of minky, and is poseable. I don't have an embroidery machine yet, so her eyes are hand painted appliques, and her cutie marks are minky, inset to blend, and attached with fabric glue.
I’m really appreciative of all the positive feedback I’ve gotten on this plushie. Thank you to all of you who have favorited her and put me on your watch list. My son, Harthric (has lots of fun pony art here), always says, “Bronies, man. Bronies are the best.” It is very easy to see why!
I've begun my next plush, which I hope to have done soon. For now, I'll just say ... it's not a Luna.
